CPA is also constructing a brand-new commuter terminal to serve inter-island transport between Saipan, Rota and Tinian. This newly constructed, larger facility can accommodate up to four commuter airlines, has a larger departure holding room, concession space, larger restrooms and U.S. CBP screening for private aircraft.
CPA is under contract to replace the remaining three loading bridges that were destroyed by Typhoon Yutu. The three new bridges should be installed and operational by the summer of 2025.
